What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and provide our services. This may include:

  • Details you choose to share about your business and enquiry.
  • Basic, anonymous usage data (such as pages visited) to help us improve the website.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call.
  • To provide and improve the services you ask us about.
  • To send information you've requested. We don't sell your data, ever.

The free website score

When you use our free website audit, we ask for your website address, your phone number and optionally your name. We use these to run the check, show you your score, and to contact you by phone, text or email about your score and how we could improve your site. By submitting the form you agree to us contacting you for that purpose. We won't pass your details to anyone else. If you'd rather we didn't get in touch, reply "no" to any message or email jamiebourne@yiagents.org and we'll stop.

Legal basis

Under UK GDPR, we process your information on the basis of your consent (when you contact us) and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers that help us operate (for example, our website host and form provider), and only as far as needed to deliver the service. This site is hosted on Netlify, and form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms.

Cookies & third parties

This site may use essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage. We also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure whether our adverts lead to people using the free website score or booking a call, and to show our adverts to people who've visited. The pixel sets cookies under Meta's privacy policy; you can control ad personalisation in your Facebook settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies. Embedded content (such as Google Maps) may set its own cookies under their respective privacy policies.

Data retention

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to deal with your request and for our legitimate business records, then delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email jamiebourne@yiagents.org. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
